About Brittany Davis:

Brittany is a self described black, blind, non-binary artist from Seattle who told the @southseattleemerald “My hopes and dreams are to create space for people and awareness for folks with disabilities especially, and for folks that have invisible disabilities — autism, spectrum disorders — things that have to do with sensory processing and sensory modulation. All of those different things are real, and people don’t understand how that feels.”

More about Siembra: Siembra is a family-run business that highlights Colombian and Peruvian flavors. Seattle native Alex Dorros launched it during the pandemic with help from this mom in the kitchen. Siembra has been mentioned in Conde Nast Traveller’s List of “Best New Restaurants in the World” in 2021, and featured in The Stranger, South Seattle Emerald, Eater Seattle, and The Infatuation. Their menus celebrate local and organic ingredients, and arepas— crispy corn griddle cakes with toppings.

More about DJ Marco Collins: Marco Collins is a Seattle radio personality best known as the flagship DJ and Music Director at Seattle’s 107.7 ‘The End’ during the 1990’s grunge explosion which landed him a spot in The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. Although he worked at a number of radio stations on the West Coast, VH1 and several record labels/management teams, the role he played in the 90’s is what made Seattle synonymous with grunge music. Marco was instrumental in breaking artists such as Nirvana, Beck, Weezer, The Presidents of the United States of America, Foo Fighters, Garbage, and Harvey Danger. He also championed little known bands, often being the one to break them into the mainstream. The bands that Marco broke went on to international stardom, which helped establish him as one of music’s most influential tastemakers and the subject of a documentary called The Glamour & The Squalor

More… Brittany Davis (they/them) is a blind, multi-instrumentalist singer, songwriter and performer from Seattle, Washington who describes themself as a vessel of sound, experiencing music in spirits and colors. Brittany grew up in Kansas City and played piano/organ in church, then moved to Seattle a decade ago where their exceptional songwriting began, capturing the attention of Stone Gossard and his Seattle-based record label Loosegroove Records.

Their forthcoming album (first quarter of 2024), Image Issues was produced by Brittany Davis and Josh Evans (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Brandi Carlile, Painted Shield and more.) Image Issues is a concept album described by Brittany as an “audio movie” intended to give listeners an experience that replicates theirs of watching their real life as a movie. This collection of songs tells the stories of Brit’s internal struggles and revelations with brutal honesty and observation.

Brittany’s 2022 critically-acclaimed debut EP ‘I Choose To Live’ was praised by media outlets like NPR Tiny Desk who offered them a coveted slot. Sonic Guild’s awarded them a 2022 Emerging Artist grant, and they have been covered this past year by The Seattle Times, American Songwriter, Livewire, South Seattle Emerald, KEXP Sound & Vision, Seattle Channel, Seattle Refined, SPIN and more.

2023 performances include: Urban Alternative conference in Ft. Collins opening for Emily King and Jessy Wilson; Seattle Theater Group’s annual DOORS benefit opening for Mavis Staples; sets for Sonic Guild and STG at the Port Townsend THING Festival; the National Anthem at Seattle Sounders match; and performances at Pickathon, Clockout Lounge, Tractor Tavern, as well as regular sets at Rabbit Box Theater.
