Community Planning Session: Mental Health Counseling

The Department of Community and Human Services – Adult Services Division’s Veterans, Seniors, and Human Services Levy (VSHSL) team will be hosting an in-person Community Planning Session to receive feedback on Strategy HL 2: Mental Health Counseling!

At this community planning session, we will discuss:
· What are the top three factors in building a successful mental health counseling program for veterans, service members & their families, seniors, and caregivers (priority populations)?
· How do you evaluate success for an inclusive mental health counseling program for the priority populations?
· What are the top three challenges/barriers you’ve faced (or anticipate) delivering your mental health counseling program for the priority populations?
· How can VSHSL funding bridge or address these challenges?
