UDOC is a free six-week summer education program that aims to foster, affirm, and encourage high school juniors interested in health careers. UDOC runs from July1st – August 9th, 2024, three weeks virtual and three weeks on the University of Washington Seattle campus (depending on COVID-19 University of Washington and CDC guidance.)
UPDATED Dates for UDOC! Because many schools are still in session on 6/17 we’ve move the UDOC program back two weeks, to July 1st – August 9th, 2024. The in-person portion of UDOC will be July 22nd – August 9th, 2024.
Eligibility:
- Currently enrolled high school student in WA state (completing junior year by July 1 2024).
- Demonstrates an interest in health sciences
- Comes from a background (economic, geographic, education, race/ethnicity, LGBTQIA2S+) or group that is currently underrepresented in the health professions
- US Citizenship, US Permanent Residency or DACA status
Requirements:
- Current High School Transcript
- Proof of immunizations will be required for participants including the COVID-19 immunization.

Admissions decisions released: udoc decisions will be released Friday March 29th 2024! (updated release date)
