52nd Annual Advances in Family Medicine and Primary Care Course

This is the 52nd year that the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine is offering information from a variety of disciplines including family medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, dermatology, OB GYN, neurology, pulmonology, ophthalmology, and many other disciplines. The material presented will allow participants to acquire new information as well as review information important to building and maintaining skills valuable for the primary care provider. Review of evidence-based guidelines from recent studies and professional organizations as well as opportunities for hands on learning.
We are also excited to offer a one-day mini-course (Friday, September 13) focused on Infectious Diseases Updates for the busy Family Medicine & Primary Care provider: Immunization Update, Travel Medicine Primer, Antibiotic MythBusters, Infections in a Planet on Fire, Urine Trouble: A Path Forward with UTI, TB or Not TB?, and STI Updates.
This course is designed for family physicians, and other primary care providers including internists, pediatricians, osteopathic physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and others interested in primary care.
