UWCFD Virtual Lunch & Learn: Nonprofit organizations serving LGBTQIA+ Communities
June 18 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Join the UW Combined Fund Drive in honoring Pride Month by engaging with local nonprofit organizations that foster open, safe and inclusive spaces for all identities and orientations at this online lunch and learn event.
Grab your lunch and prepare to be inspired as we explore the impactful and affirming work these groups are doing for the community. Discover volunteer opportunities, learn how you can support their missions and connect with others who share passion for LGBTQ+ rights and inclusivity. This virtual lunch and learn will feature the following organizations:
PFLAG is the first and largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and their families.
Pride Foundation is building a better, safer, and more equitable world for LGBTQ+ people and our families in the Northwest. Their work is guided by the fundamental belief that every person should be able to live safely, openly, and genuinely in all of the communities we call home.
Ingersoll Gender Center is an organization by, and for transgender and gender nonconforming people that provides mutual support through peer led support groups, advocacy in navigating resources, community organizing, and education — all in the pursuit of our collective self-determination.
