Trans Health Allies Network

The UW Medicine Trans Health Allies group is led by Dr. Corinne Heinen and consist of UWM providers interested in or currently providing gender affirming care. This online educational and consult space was designed to help disseminate legislative changes in gender affirming care coverage, communicate clinical best practices, and inform providers about gender affirming care services available at UWM. If you would like to join this group, please contact us to be added.

OUTList

A compilation of UW Medicine Faculty, Staff, and learners who identify in the LGBTQ2S+ community and are interested in advocacy by increasing visibility of the queer community, networking, and community building. The OUTList is designed to assist in the recruitment and retention of a workforce that represents the intersectional identities of our communities by making this list available to current and prospective employees, learners, and patients. 2SLGBTQ+ Affinity Group

The 2SLGBTQ+ Affinity Group is a welcoming space for faculty and staff to connect with others who may share similar life experiences.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • A supportive community: Meet and network with like-minded individuals in a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Professional development: Gain valuable skills and knowledge through workshops, guest speakers, and discussions on topics relevant to the 2SLGBTQ+ community in the workplace or academic setting.
  • Social events: Enjoy fun outings and activities to build friendships and celebrate your identity.
  • Advocacy: Have a voice in shaping a more inclusive environment at UW Medicine

Whether you’re just starting your journey or a seasoned member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, the Affinity Group is a place for you to belong.

We meet the 4th Thursday of the Month, 12-1pm.
