UDOC is a free six-week summer education program that aims to foster, affirm, and encourage high school juniors interested in health careers.  UDOC runs from June 23rd – August 1st, 2025, three weeks virtual and three weeks on the University of Washington Seattle campus (depending on COVID-19 University of Washington and CDC guidance.)

UDOC 2025 application is now open!

Eligibility:

  • Currently enrolled high school student in WA state (completing junior year by July 1 2025).
  • Demonstrates an interest in health careers
  • Student and/or family with limited financial or educational resources (including but not limited to rural community, immediate family without college degree, receive free school lunch or enrolled in state financial assistance programs, etc.)
  • US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency

Requirements:

  • Current High School Transcript
  • Proof of 2 measles shots required for in-dorm living. In clinic shadowing will require additional immunizations.
