Join the fourth webinar in the Diversity in Clinical Trials Initiative, the University of Washington’s plan to comply with Washington State law (RCW 69.78), which aims to improve participation in clinical trials from underrepresented communities. This webinar will provide Human Subjects Division updates and highlight resources available to support research teams in complying with the policy, which went into effect January 1, 2026.
This webinar will review:
Policy updates, requirements, and applicability
Currently available tools to support compliance, including recruitment, community engagement, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11–compliant eConsent resources
