About Us
Our Purpose
The purpose of the Committee on Minority Faculty Advancement is to address the professional development needs of our faculty from underrepresented groups in medicine and sciences (URMS) by facilitating the dissemination of knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to achieve successful careers in academic medicine. In addition, this committee will assist the University in highlighting the unique needs of URMS faculty to aid in the recruitment and retention of URMS faculty, which will increase the diversity of the medical school faculty.
