We are thrilled to have you join our diverse faculty of clinicians, researchers, and educators from Alaska to Wyoming.  The Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA) created with one goal – to help faculty learn, grow, and thrive in the School of Medicine. The team in OFA focuses on bringing career development, skill building, well-being, support resources, and much more to our faculty.

UW Office of Healthcare Equity
The UW Medicine Office of Healthcare Equity at the University of Washington is dedicated to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion within the healthcare system. Though collaboration, community engagement and education.

UW Medicine Graduate Medical Education
The Graduate Medical Education (GME) program at UW School of Medicine is to improve the health of the public by fostering the professional growth of physician and dentist leaders within a supportive and dynamic culture of learning, building the foundation for a workforce that represents and enhances the communities we serve.

Institute of Translational Health Sciences (ITHS)
The Institute of Translational Health Sciences is dedicated to speeding science to clinic practice for the benefit of patients and communities throughout Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho, (WWAMI) and beyond. ITHS promotes this translation of scientific discovery to practice by fostering innovative research, cultivating multi-disciplinary research partnerships, and ensuring a pipeline of next generation researchers through robust educational and career development programs.

NCFDD
The National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity. It’s an independent organization dedicated to supporting faculty, graduate students, and postdocs in their academic careers. They offer a variety of resources, including professional development programs, training, and mentoring support. The University of Washington is an Institutional member
