The Health Careers Academy Program–PNW (HCAP‑PNW), a summer enrichment experience offered by Morehouse School of Medicine and supported by a Pfizer Workforce grant is open for applications with a deadline of May 15th, 2026. This 6‑week hybrid program is designed to strengthen your readiness for medical school through structured MCAT preparation, professional development, and hands‑on exposure to clinical and academic environments.

Program Dates: June 22 – July 31, 2026
· June 22 – July 3: In‑person at UW-Tacoma (housing + meals provided)
· July 6 – July 31: Virtual MCAT prep and programming
· MCAT exam fee covered
Room and board covered June 21 – July 10
Interested in Applying?
Who Should Apply: Rising Juniors, Seniors, and Post‑Baccalaureate students committed to pursuing careers in medicine. Participants will engage in:
· A formal MCAT prep course
· Three full‑length MCAT practice exams
· Personal statement development
· Mock interviews
· Clinical shadowing
· Weekly assessments and post‑program follow‑ups
Expectations: Full participation, consistent study engagement, and responsiveness to program assessments.
