First LEAD UP Cohort Graduates

LEAD UP is a program — created in 2019 at the Medical College of Wisconsin under the leadership of Jeffrey Kirsch, MD, chief of Anesthesiology at Harborview Medical Center — for residents and fellows that provides self-development, mentorship and leadership enrichment. The first cohort of five UW Medicine trainees were selected from over 20 candidates. These trainees benefit from one-to-one coaching and engagement from national and local leaders.
