Notice:  OHCE’s Foundational EDI educational courses have been paused for compliance review, effective January 1, 2026.   
OHCE is the central hub for all UW Medicine EDI training and educational events.  Our Reducing Weight Stigma & Bias in Healthcare sessions are still available and on our calendar.  We would love to see you there, and please check back as we hope to be back up and running with more courses soon.

Our Values

The Office of Healthcare Equity’s training team provides broad and effective EDI training and education for the entire UW Medicine community. Our trainings provide expectations for awareness, understanding, and behavior change in five foundational content areas as well as deeper dive training and educational experiences on specific topics.
