2026 Cierra Sisters World Mammography Day

October 17 @ 12:00 pm 3:00 pm

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Cierra Sisters is thrilled to invite you to celebrate World Mammography Day.

This year’s theme: “More Than a Mammogram – It’s All Connected: The Body, The System & The Fight to Thrive.”

Join in community for an empowering afternoon of connection, education, and action as we fight breast cancer together.

With 30 years of service, Cierra Sisters is a trusted nonprofit founded by the late Bridgette Hempstead. They are dedicated to educating, empowering, and uplifting the black community and the medically underserved with life savings breast cancer knowledge by breaking the cycle of fear through education, advocacy and access to care. They walk alongside women as they navigate their journey with strength and dignity.
