Dr. Patricia L. Dawson Endowed Faculty Fellowship

Throughout her career, and most recently at UW, Dr. Dawson consistently demonstrated a distinguished spirit of service, integrity, and commitment to others, positively influencing and impacting the lives of those around her. Guided by the principle that everyone has a right to quality healthcare, Dr. Dawson transformed organizations, increased equitable patient care and inspired others to join in building a society that works for and respects every person.

It is with great appreciation and admiration of Dr. Dawson and her work that former colleagues have chosen to honor her by creating an endowed faculty fellowship in the UW Medicine Office of Healthcare Equity that will live on in perpetuity. This fund will support the work of a faculty leader at UW Medicine to operationalize the goals of the UW Medicine Healthcare Equity Blueprint, an innovative roadmap for improving equity outcomes written by UW Medicine leaders and initiated by Drs. Houston and Dawson. We invite you to join in contributing to the Dr. Patricia L. Dawson Endowed Faculty Fellowship.

Office of Healthcare Equity Medical Student Program Fund

To support medical student programs and activities in support of equity, diversity and inclusion through the UW Medicine Office of Healthcare Equity.

Committee on Minority Faculty Advancement Endowed Diversity Scholarship

To provide financial support to medical students in the UW School of Medicine. It is the Donors’ preference that recipients be, to the extent legally permissible, from underrepresented groups in medicine and biomedical sciences.

LGBTQ Health Pathway Program Fund

To provide funding for projects, research, and conference travel/fees associated with the LGBTQ Health Pathway, for students passionate about serving the LGBTQ community.

Transgender and Gender Non-Binary Health Excellence Fund

To support the important work of the Transgender and Gender Non-Binary Health Program at UW Medicine.
