Peer Trainer Program

Our Peer Trainer Program produces a well-trained team of EDI peer trainers to help deliver the EDI foundational training curriculum to our UW Medicine community system-wide.

Our EDI Peer Trainer Program is a great opportunity for those who are committed to EDI work and have an interest in developing their skills as an educator. EDI peer trainers are individuals with diverse roles within UW Medicine who volunteer to take 34 hours of rigorous study and training, working closely with our subject matter experts to become certified in a specialty topic. Once certified, they deliver trainings in pairs to our community.
