Doctor for a Day: Heart & Lungs – 11th Year at Africatown

Doctor for a Day from the University of Washington, School of Medicine, is excited to host this free in-person event with hands-on activities focusing around learning about medicine and healthcare professions. With a focus on Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiology, and Pathology, come talk with current medical students, residents, and attendings to learn more about a future career in medicine. Bring all of your questions. Free swag and food provided!
Open to all students, the purpose of Doctor for a Day is to inspire and encourage educationally and economically under resourced students to consider medicine or other healthcare careers. DFAD focuses on students from 7th grade all the way up to college level students.
