UTOPIA WA Trans Awareness Week: Transgender Day of Remembrance

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual commemoration that is observed on November 20th to memorialize our trans and gender-diverse siblings we have lost to anti-transgender violence and to shine a light on the persistence of transphobia.
Join us as we come together to honor the lives of transgender individuals lost to violence and hate, especially those from marginalized communities. This year’s TDOR event will feature a moving vigil, community performers, call to action and space for reflection and healing. Together, we will stand in solidarity to not only remember those we’ve lost but also to empower and uplift our trans community as we continue the fight for safety, dignity, and justice.
