How to Take and Get Credit for our Trainings

Home > Healthcare Equity Education and Training > How to Take and Get Credit for our Trainings
  • Our training courses are made for employees of UW Medicine.
  • All training is delivered either in-person, using the UW Zoom platform, or hybrid. If you are using zoom you will need to be signed into that system before registering and prior to each training to lessen technical issues.
  • We track attendance for those that show up for each 90-minute training.
  • At the end of each training, all attendees with a UW net ID or affiliate UW partner email are sent an email from hcesched@uw.edu with resources within 48 hours, in lieu of a completion certificate.
    • If you are an individual seeking a training record, check with your unit manager first to see if they have a departmental record already provided.
  • We currently track attendance in the Learning Hub, our central Learning Management system, for the following courses:
    • Identity, Privilege, and Intersectionality
    • The History of Race and Racism in Medicine and Science
    • Gender and Sexual Diversity
    • Social Determinants of Health
    • Bias & Microaggressions
  • We do not track attendance for any additional courses.
  • For employees that qualify to receive Continuing Education Credit, please navigate to this page for further instructions on How to receive CME credit.
