To the UW Medicine Community:
The 2025 UW Medicine Inclusive Climate Survey is now open, and we are counting on you to participate.
This survey is specifically for UW Medicine employees across clinical, research, and learning settings. Your responses will shape the direction of climate and equity work for the next two years.
In 2023, more than 10,000 employees completed the survey. Their input led to real changes, including:
- A simplified public report that made key findings easier to access and understand
- Action planning tools based on four systemwide recommendations
- Commitments to change from 48 leadership groups across UW Medicine
- Leadership forums focused on transparency in bias reporting and bystander intervention
This year, we hope to increase the response rate from 39 percent to 60 percent. Survey dashboards will again provide leadership with a clear view of responses at the team, department, and system levels. To reach this goal, we encourage all employees to take the time to participate and to remind others to do the same.
The survey takes less than 15 minutes to complete and is available in six languages. All responses are completely confidential.
